The incomparable Chloe Veitch takes us inside the game in this official trailer for Netflix.
Create a compelling visual world that felt larger than the production itself despite the constraints of a limited budget and compressed production schedule.
Rather than build physical sets, we used AI-generated environments as digital production design. Chloe Veitch was filmed entirely on green screen, with every shot designed around the AI artwork. By carefully matching camera optics, perspective, and lighting between production and the generated environments, we were able to seamlessly integrate live-action performances into worlds that never physically existed.
The campaign launched across Netflix Games' channels, introducing The Ultimatum: Choices with a trailer that felt larger than its production footprint. The project demonstrated how thoughtful integration of AI-generated environments and live action can deliver premium visuals on an independent budget.
Because the environments existed only as AI-generated imagery, every scene was reverse engineered before production. We recreated each location in 3D to establish camera position, lens choice, actor placement, prop dimensions, and lighting direction before stepping onto the stage. This allowed the green-screen photography to align precisely with the AI-generated environments during compositing.
